Shashika De Silva is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Apex Veridian Business Solutions. A senior business and management professional with more than eighteen years across operations, strategy, risk and compliance, sales and organisational transformation, he holds an MBA and an MSc in Supply Chain & Logistics.

Why he co-founded Apex Veridian

Across senior roles in operations, risk and compliance, retail, distribution and renewable energy, Shashika has seen that sustainable growth rests on financial discipline, strong internal controls and clear accountability — and that many growing businesses lack the systems to deliver them.

He co-founded Apex Veridian to give Sri Lankan businesses practical, performance-oriented support: understanding how each business really operates, identifying gaps and opportunities, setting measurable objectives and helping management translate strategy into effective execution. As Chief Executive Officer, he sets the firm’s strategic direction and leads its growth, drawing on hands-on experience in business restructuring, cost optimisation, working capital management, strategic partnerships and business expansion.

James leads Apex Veridian's revenue assurance and growth practice.

He brings more than eighteen years in the operational core of six local and international banks — cash management, clearing, remittances and regulatory compliance — together with first-hand experience of owning and running a distribution business.

Why he co-founded Apex Veridian

Shanaka has built his career where money actually moves — in cash vaults, clearing operations and payment processing — where a single unreconciled entry can become a real loss. Running his own distribution business showed him how rarely growing companies have the settlement controls, documentation and compliance discipline that banks treat as routine.

He co-founded Apex Veridian to close that gap: to give Sri Lankan businesses practical, bank-grade operational controls they can realistically sustain, and to help them build stronger relationships with banks, auditors and financiers. As Chief Operating Officer, he leads the firm’s operations and the delivery of its client engagements, ensuring every assignment is executed with the same rigour he applied in banking.
